Many people are not familiar with the connection device of the mine winch. Below is a specific introduction to the inspection and maintenance of the mining hoist winch connection device. There are three types of winch connection devices: clip type hook head, plug-in type hook head, and sliding type hook head.
The clip type hook head is composed of a U-shaped rope clamp, a rope guard ring, and a single chain (or double chain or triple chain), commonly used for lifting small winches. Its structure is simple, easy to make, easy to replace parts, and it is widely used. However, U-shaped clip nuts are prone to loosening and falling off, which may lead to detachment accidents. It is necessary to check and tighten them once per shift, and ensure that each hook head is not less than 4 pairs of clips and safety rope rings in good condition.
The plug-in hook head utilizes the friction force between the various strands after insertion to bear the lifting load, and is also composed of a protective rope ring, a chain, and a plug-in rope buckle. It has good safety, convenient production, and many uses. However, it is necessary to ensure the quality of the insertion, and the length of the insertion should not be less than 4-5 lay pitches. It is also necessary to ensure that the protective rope ring is intact and does not fall off. Each shift should conduct inspections for broken wires, wear, rust, and deformation.
China Coal Mine Winch Company stated that the sliphead type hook head is a connecting device that injects tungsten metal into the sliphead body of the rope head with a bent hook in a loose shape, commonly used for lifting main inclined shafts. Its safety is good, and the lifespan of the operator using the longevity mining hoist winch is long. However, the production process is complex, so small winches are rarely used and are mostly used for lifting the surface wellhead of the main inclined shaft. The quality of the tungsten injection process for the hook head must be strictly guaranteed, otherwise there will be accidents of wire rope head detachment. The key to ensuring quality is to strictly degrease the inner wall of the sliding head and the steel wire of the rope head, so that the surface can be reliably coated with a tin layer, in order to ensure that the tungsten metal is closely connected with the inner wall of the sliding head and the steel wire head after pouring, and to prevent detachment accidents.
