The common faults in the operation of the mining scraper winch include: broken brake belt, cracks in the motor seat, and the inability of the drum to wrap the steel wire rope while the motor is rotating. So, how should we deal with the above situations?
The scraper winch breakage of the brake belt and the cracking of the motor base are caused by overload. During the operation of the underground mining scraper winch, the rake head sometimes encounters excessive resistance and difficulties in moving forward. At this time, the rake head should be moved back a distance before continuing to move, and must not be pulled hard.
Production practice has proven that the area near the head of the cast iron gate is prone to breakage. The heavy cast iron brake head can be removed and a three section hinged brake belt can be used. The elastic deformation of each section of this brake belt is relatively uniform, and it has a self regulating effect on the tightness of the brake wheel, which can extend the service life of the brake belt by more than five times.
If the mining scraper winch braking is not flexible, it may be due to improper adjustment of the brake lever and spring, or the presence of oil and dust on the brake rim, which greatly reduces the friction force. If this situation is found, adjust the brake lever and spring in a timely manner to ensure that the brake clearance is appropriate. The braking stroke of the brake lever is reasonable within the range of 200-300 millimeters.
When it is found that the underground mining scraper winch electric motor is rotating and the drum cannot wrap the steel wire rope, it may be because the motor shaft head is broken, the small gear is damaged, or the planetary gear or bracket is damaged. At this point, open the reducer for inspection and repair, and replace damaged parts in a timely manner.
