In the process of using mining winches, due to long-term operation, mining winches will cause various unexpected failures. Usually, the winch breaks down. We first think of contacting the winch manufacturer to repair the dispatching winch. Sometimes the use of a winch is far from the winch manufacturer, and the technicians of the winch factory may not be able to reach the winch site within 48 hours, which will affect our work efficiency. In fact, sometimes the failure of the winch can be solved by ourselves. Let me talk about the leakage reason and maintenance plan of the sealing part of the mining winch.
Reasons for leakage of the sealing part of the dispatch winch:
1. It is usually due to the long-term loosening of the end cap bolts of the dispatch winch. This is actually easy to prevent. Due to rotation, vibration and other reasons, any mechanical use in the process may cause the bolts to loosen. After the dispatch winch is running, we can check whether the bolts in the winch are loose, especially the anchor bolts. Loose anchor bolts can easily lead to accidents in coal mine machinery. To solve the problem of loose bolts, tighten the bolts.
2. The oil seal is damaged due to long-term vibration. We can replace these problems with new oil seals in time.
3. Due to the long-term overload operation of the winch and the heating of the machine, the sealing part of the winch leaks. Mine winches use general lithium grease, lithium grease, especially 12-hydroxystearic acid thickened grease, there are only two crossover temperatures, 1. is the crossover temperature (that is, from gel state to gel state) Usually higher than 170°C, 2. The phase transition temperature (that is, from the gel state to the sol state) is usually higher than 200°C. Therefore, if the mining winch is overloaded for a long time, the machine will heat up, so the lithium-based grease becomes Sol state, sol state is easy to leak from various gaps in the machine. Solution: Prohibit overload operation of winches!
