1. Steps to replace the wire rope
1. Use the connector to connect the new and old wire ropes together. The size of the connector should match the diameter of the wire rope, and the end of the connector should be wrapped with a thin wire and wrapped with tape to prevent it from being hung loose by the shield when passing over the pulley;
2. Operate the air winch to wind all the old wire ropes on the drum;
3. Remove the connector;
4. Pour out all the old wire ropes and remove the old ropes on the drum to fix them;
5. Insert the new wire rope into the fixing point of the drum for fixing;
6. Pneumatic winch winds the new wire rope on the drum;
7. Clean up the site.
2. Matters needing attention
1. Ensure that the connector is connected reliably;
2. A special person is responsible for observing the condition of the connection point passing the pulley at the crane;

4. There is a special person to command and control the speed when winding the wire rope;
5. The length of the new rope should be sufficient, and there should be at least 1/2 of the length of the wire rope on the drum;

7. When starting to wind the new rope, tap the wire rope with a small hammer to make the first few turns of the rope tight and neat.
